Last night I organized the oodles of pix from our trip to Disneyland in June. I've done some 12x12 layouts for my chronological album as well as for the brwon leather Disneyland album I bought at World of Disney. I'd post a picture of it but currently it is still in a box somewhere and I haven't been able to find it anywhere on-line.
I did an awesome page based on a scraplift someone did of an Ali Edwards patterned paper challenge. I also did another layout using this sketch that Ali did for Pencil Lines. Yes, I'm diggin' on Ali lately. I also made super simple layouts using this paper. I used the gift credit I won from Disneyscrappers yahoo group.
I took the time to organize my pix by day and then added the memorabilia that coincides with each day. In the past I've done my layouts based on lands, this time I'm going to do a day-by-day album. I have a 9x9 Heidi Swapp album that I made at the Scrapbook Expo this year that I plan on using. I've done an 8x8 album before using the Deluxe Designs color blocking templates. I spent a good portion of last night finding sketches that I can tweak to meet my needs. Anyone know where there are 9x9 sketches posted? When doing an album like this I find that sketches, color blocking templates or the Pages by Design system to be a major help!
I hope to complete this album soon, and then tackle the 4 months of pix I have to do something with. I also need to "stage" some pix for Thursday and Friday for my Picture-a-Day challenge with my Heidi Swapp class. The time just got away from me.
