I've been scrapping!

I wanted to share some layouts form our trip to Palm Springs a few weeks back. I love love LOVE, Donna Downey's book. It is s awesome. If you need to find your scrapping groove and power through some pages you have to check it out. Saturday Morning and I'm in school!

I'm taking a day of free professional development at my alma mater. I must be a dedicated teacher if I got up at 6:15 on a Saturday to go to school. But right now I'm learning about wikis and blogs and while everyone is creating a blog I figured I'd update this blog that I have neglected so very much these past few months.

I do need to post some pix and layouts from our most recent trip to the House of Mouse! Dr. Geek & I had a fabulous time on the Segway tour of DCA. Our tour guide was most impressed with our skills and learning curve. I guess all those years of dancing paid off. I didn't wobble on it at all when I stepped up onto the machine. Apparently that never happens!

Touring through the park with a group of 6 other people and 2 tour guides was so weird. There were cast members setting up for the day, but otherwise the park was wide open. When does that ever happen?

Well I should get back to my class work now. I mean I kind of am doing the assignment...I just worked ahead. Ok I admit I hate it when my students do that.

Cruzin' California

It's 7:10 am and I'm standing at guest relations waiting to hop on a segway and Dr. Geek and I are going to cruz around California Adventure. This should be fun!
