This is the 5th year I've taken part in the Journal Your Christmas community. I love it, it's one of the best parts of the holiday season. I consider it to be a creative Advent calendar.

I have to add our Christmas card once it's done. For the past few years I've done a hybrid card. I create a base with all my fun scrapping toys and then scan it into the computer. I add our picture and some other finishing touches in PhotoShop, I save the entire thing as a JPEG file and then have them printed out at a local developer. I still get the fun of creating an elaborate card but not having to do the assembly line procedure for nearly 100 cards.

This Christmas is going to be perfect no matter how imperfect it may be. We have a little guy that will make the holidays so much more fun.

One of the best things about where we live is the weather. It doesn't get extreme weather, or if it does it doesn't last long. I just took a screen shot of my iPhone weather app.

The first page of my Christmas Journal. I printed one of Shimelle's files of the manifesto and trimmed it to fit onto one of the pre-printed Ali Edwards' templates. I think the transparency is from Making Memories.
