Each holiday baby geek "commissions" a card that he sends out to loved ones. Father's day is no exception. After doing this a few times, and now that I have my Expression, I've tried to streamline the process. I set up a SCAL file laid out to make 4 5x7 cards out of one sheet of 12x12 paper. I use a Fuji Instax camera to take multiple instant pix of Baby Geek -- the outtakes make for some cute scrapbooking pages! The Instax prints are the same size as a gift card so I added the SVGCuts Gift Card Holders file to my layout. (They no longer have the link to this free file on their website) I then come up with a theme for the card. I'll use one item on the card and then make a few props for Baby Geek to hold in the pictures. For this card I'm using the Father's Fancy Footwork set from Lettering Delights. I'll take the pictures of him barefoot while holding the "Happy Fathers' Day" sign and lay the diecut socks along side him. The Grandparents and others who have received the cards love them. They like that they have a snapshot of Baby Geek they can keep.
